I have been very sick lately. I don't like to read, look, or even think about food. This is weird for me because I am usually obsessed with cookbooks, menu planning and food blogs. Blah. I spend the majority of my day trying to not throw up, and letting Drew know every time I do so he doesn't miss out on a moment of the suckyness. This is partially his fault anyway. The only thing I have been able to even consider eating for the last three days is tuna fish sandwiches and sour cream and onion potato chips. Thank god for potato chips.

sandwich~ whole grain bread~
and tuna in oil~
lots of pepper and
diced dill pickle~
lemon zest + juice~
sea salt.

it gets better. it supposed to only last 3 months. soon youll have cravings! i stopped eating chocolate throughout my whole pregnancy (thats when stephen said i should see a doctor, because he was sure something was wrong), and ate ridiculous amounts of fruit (like 6-7 apples/day). and then, month 8, i started craving krispy kreme doughnuts.

oh and no one ever told me but you still have to worry about what you eat AFTER you have the baby. no alcohol because baby can still get drunk from breastmilk and spicy foods make baby gassy.

am i being a downer? i promise its all worth it.
