Marlow's weekend

Marlow loves to go in the car. He barely fits. We have to put all the seats down in the back to get him in there. Then he drools all over me because he is so excited. We took him for a big walk around town lake. The weather is warm and all the turtles have come out to bask in the sun. I love those damn turtles. Marlow wants to smooch them, but they all plop back in the water if he gets too close. We give Marlow a bath every two weeks. He doesn't put up too much of a fight. He will walk in and out of the bathtub all by himself...like a big boy. I'm a proud momma.

TA DA!!

I took four of these this weekend and they all turned out the same way. We are happy, excited, nervous, anxious, nauseous and generally freaked out. It's really early but too exciting not to share the news. Happy Easter!

One week from today...

...Drew and I will be on a plane to NYC. My lovely friend Lola will be getting married. We are going to see old friends, new babies, stay in a fabulous hotel and eat till we can't eat anymore. I can't wait.

the hat...

This is the straw hat I am madly in love with. I'm thinking about using my Anthropologie gift card to buy it, but with all things at Anthropologie...it is ridiculously priced. I am already imagining me and the hat tending to the vegetable garden or bouncing around the Florida keys. What do you think?

weekend

Drew and I had a really great weekend. It is starting to officially feel like spring in Texas and I love it. We took Marlow to the dog park for the Great Dane meet up. He was able to play with all of his Great Dane friends, and finally got in the water on his own. He is a big boy now. We went for a long bike ride. We planted our flowers, herbs and tomatoes. Here is the list of what was planted:
Tomatoes: Yellow Pear, Juliet, Big Beef, Sun Gold
Herbs: Rosemary, Parsley, Thyme, Sage, Dill, Cilantro, and Basil
Flowers: Lavender, Ranaculous, and some mix flower seeds I don’t remember the name of.
The Ranaculous is the yellow flower you see below. That is the type of flower I wore in my hair the day I got married. I love them. This plant will be especially babied.
