my valentine...

Robert and Jessica threw a valentine's day party this afternoon for little kids. Owen had a blast playing with puppy dogs and eating heart shaped PB&J sandwiches. I took a ton of super cute photos but unfortunately this is the only picture that made it off my camera before the battery died. My charger is missing so there will be a another pause in posting while I either find my charger or replace it. Grrrrrrrr. I am going to go soothe myself with chocolate covered cherries. Happy Valentines Day!

great grandma...

One of the many upsides to living in Texas is that my sweet sweet grandma lives only three hours away. Owen totally loved her up.

deep in the heart of texas...

We are safely nestled in Texas...and have been for awhile. Things have been crazy but should be settling down soon so expect more regular posting. Drew found a job and the big apartment hunt begins this weekend. Wish us luck. I can't wait to start unpacking all of our stuff that has been collecting dust in storage for over a year. It will feel like christmas.

I will be absent from the blog for awhile. Drew, Owen and I are hitting the road early tomorrow morning. We are making the move back to Austin, TX. I will blog again once we are safely settled in Texas. We are excited about new adventures to come, but sad to say good bye to grandma and pa. They will be missed and better come visit us as soon as they can.

island chill

Sweaters are rarely worn on this island but our temps have dipped down in the 50's the last few days. That may not sound cold to most of you, but Drew and I are freezing. Our bodies have forgotten how to handle cold weather after wearing only shorts and flip-flops the last year and a half. Owen doesn't seem to be bothered by the cold, and I think he is looking quite dashing in his warm weather attire.
